Would you like to operate our communication activities during the different phases of The International VELUX Award 2016 for Students of Architecture? Do you have a strong passion for developing key messages and compelling texts? And do you want to explore different aspects of communication? Then we have the student position you are looking for. Your challenges
The International VELUX Award is the single biggest global competition for students of architecture running since 2004. Over the years it has created contact to 350 architecture schools and universities all over the globe.
In our stakeholder Communications and Sustainability Department, we want to employ a student for 10-15 hours weekly to join our project team working with the International VELUX Award.
Your specific tasks could be:
- Develop key messages
- Develop content for our website and social media activities within the award
- Write articles and press releases about the theme, milestones and previous awards
- Conduct interviews with previous winners and jury members
- Coordinate and drive tasks with our internal agency e.g. development of graphics, images and communication material
You are in the last part of your communication studies, and you are an excellent text writer, have a good eye for visuals, and you know how to combine them into compelling messages for different channels.
Digital communication, planning and basic layout are your strong points but you are also very interested in social media and communication strategy.
You work independently, you have a structured approach to your tasks and the ability to find the right solutions for the benefit of your team.
You speak and write of course flawless in English and you possess basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus.
As a person, you are outgoing with a good sense of humour and respect for other people’s different backgrounds. Competencies such as excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills are required.
