We are looking for an ambitious and highly competent student to FICC Strategy & Planning, Nordea Markets, in Copenhagen.
The position we offer
The overall responsibility of the team is to support FICC Management with strategic and operational projects and tasks, incl. decision support material and presentations. The team works particularly close with the Head of FICC and FICC COO, to whom you will report directly.
The range of assignments is very broad, and examples on recent and upcoming tasks include involvement in Nordea’s current business and cultural transformation, participation in defining new strategy, developing market/competitor analysis, coordinating a relocation of the trading floor, planning senior management seminars, developing business area profitability analysis, budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting.
You will get the opportunity to invest your talent in a job that entails multiple interfaces across the organisation incl. senior exposure. Thus, there are great development opportunities for the right candidate.
Your work can include:
- Analysis, problem-solving and number crunching in Excel
- Practical coordination and follow-up with stakeholders
- Preparation of presentations, project updates and reporting
- Increasingly take ownership of work-streams and small projects
The position is approx. 15 hours per week.
Your workplace will be Nordea Metro Cph. Trading Floor at our new premises next to DR Byen Metro Station.
The qualifications you need
In order to succeed in this role you need a drive and interest for working within the Markets FICC business. You are result oriented and proactive, always striving to deliver high quality work while keeping agreed deadlines. You possess high integrity and enjoy working with a broad set of tasks.
You must be able to work independently with a structured approach to problem solving, i.e. you are analytically strong with flair for numbers and you have attention to the details while being able to see big picture. The position requires both great interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
- Have a high skill level in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Are fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages, both oral and written
- Are a Bachelor student (3rd year) or Master student (1st year) in relevant areas with strong results
