You will be part of a team of six, all collaborating with colleagues across the VELUX Group, as well as with international networks. We are the knowledge center for Daylight, Energy and Indoor Climate in the VELUX Group’s. We seek to enhance and promote the relevance of daylight and fresh air in buildings and to influence the health and energy agenda of buildings in Europe and across the world.
As a student assistant, you will be responsible for your own tasks. Your primary tasks will depend on your profile and could be to:
- Help develop and maintain an editorial plan for thedaylightsite.com
- Help develop and maintain DEIC Basic Book Live on VELUX.com, hereby including search engine optimisation, content update and activation
- Create stories and articles to promote Daylight Visualizer and Energy and Indoor Climate Visualizer on various online channels (VELUX.com, LinkedIn, etc.).
The employment will start August/September 2017 for a period of 1-2 years. Working hours will be between 10-15 hours per week and the actual timing of the hours is flexible and will be adjusted to your study programme.Your qualifications
You are a student of communication, journalism or other relevant education. You could be at Master level or about to start a Master, but not limited to.
You are skilled at creating stories and reaching the targeted audience on social media platforms. You are familiar with search engine optimisation (SEO), can perform simple crop/resize tasks in image editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop) and can perform HTML and CSS editing as well as publish articles via a website’s back-end (e.g. WordPress, Sitecore).
With an independent and systematic approach to task solving, you take pride in delivering good results. You enjoy working in a knowledge intensive team, characterised by highly professional proficiencies and cross-functional knowledge sharing. You communicate and collaborate easily with the people around you.
