NorthQ ApS is a Danish technology company, specialised in Internet of Things with a main focus on manufacturing and developing home automation and energy optimisation solutions. Founded in 2007 by a small group of highly motivated and creative people, the company is the pioneer within retrofit meter reading solutions for electricity, gas and water meters. While developing the hardware and software of our products, we were guided by the belief that technology should be simple and robust. Moreover, it should be easy to install and easy to operate, without the need of much attention. In order to achieve this we have established a creative international environment in which we work hard and generate new ideas every day.

Job description:

Do you enjoy sales? NorthQ is looking for highly motivated and goal-oriented interns who would like to gain some work experience and join our Sales team. During your practical placement, you will be able to perform tasks within B2B and B2C sales, but also gain deeper knowledge about IoT and energy optimisation systems, both in DK and abroad.


  • Propose and execute the company’s B2B sales strategy to achieve profitability and volume objectives
  • Approach customers in a well-mannered though persistent way
  • Research and call new potential customers (cold calling) and arrange meetings
  • Contact/reply/follow up new customers who are emailing NorthQ
  • Prepare sales reports and negotiate prices and conditions
  • Participate in trade shows and skype meetings with customers
  • Create & maintain customer accounts in our CRM & ERP system
  • Help with inventory, maintenance of the stockroom and shipping orders
  • Develop material in cooperation with marketing department
  • Help with ad hoc tasks delegated by the CEO and other managers

Minimum qualifications:

  • Excellent communicator in English, both written and oral
  • Higher education in the sales-related field
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office, CRM & ERP systems
  • Outgoing personality, cross-functionality & autonomy
