ABOUT GAME
GAME is a non-profit street sports organization that since 2002 has been working to create lasting social change by establishing innovative facilities and educating young people as leaders and role models in street sports. At GAME Headquarters in Copenhagen and in the branch offices in the Middle East we work closely with different partners, institutions and municipalities to help make street sports as accessible to as many children and young people as possible.

SCOPE OF WORK
As a IT Junior Coordinator you will be managing the organization’s IT systems and processes. Main tasks will be on supporting staff and day-to-day operations from an IT perspective. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic goals and develop GAME’s use of technology in a comprehensible way to support our impact delivery.

Day-to-Day tasks on maintenance and troubleshooting:

  • Maintenance of GAME IT systems (MS365, Cloud server, gruppe-sms.dk, etc.)
  • IT and HR on- and off-boarding
  • Creation of IT guidelines on use and safety
  • Managing of the GAME Academy Platform

Development and innovation:

  • Building of e-learning course architecture
  • Project management of new GAME website
  • Implementation and optimization of Google SEO
  • GAME web shop implementation
  • Research and apply for Non-Profit grants (e.g. Google Ad Grant)

As IT Junior Coordinator, you will work closely with Admin and the Communication Team. You will have contact with various staff across the organization in order to support their needs.

As an IT Junior Coordinator, from time to time you will have the opportunity to participate in volunteer activities outside the office and to join the variety of programs that GAME runs. As all other staff you will be welcome to participate in our special events such as the Friday Jams, Street GAME’s and the GAME Finals.

WHO YOU ARE
We expect that you are:

  • Currently undertaking a relevant education degree related to IT
  • Responsible and prepared to contribute to the team
  • Structured and able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Able to multitask, but also mono-task when sustained focus is required
  • Able to get along with a wide variety of people, both in the office and internationally
  • Fluent in Danish and English
  • Service minded and yet priority focused
  • Experience with street sports and/or street culture is an advantage, but not mandatory

ACCESSION DATE
is May 1 2020 or before. The position is 10-15 hours a week.

WORK LOCATION
is at GAME Copenhagen, Enghavevej 82 D in Copenhagen.
