Sales Support Intern



The role will be focused on primarily looking for someone who will provide accurate and timely routine sales administration support to Citrix Denmark sales resources or partners related to customer and partner setup and programs, pricing administration, licensing, deal registrations, Advisor Rewards and assistance with sales tools, escalating complex requests to appropriate Citrix teams.

You will be supporting the Citrix Sales team which comprises of Enterprise Relationship Managers (ERM), Corporate Account Managers (CAM), Field Sales Manager (FSM), Channel Development Manager (CDM) and Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) in maintaining accurate CRM/Salesforce data related to their accounts and opportunities.

Intern Responsibilities

  • Promote Citrix value proposition
  • New business support for the sales team (including partner and client calls)
  • Assist the team with deal preparation including pricing and customer contract detail and account profiling
  • Assist with the sales exception process
  • Support customers with Citrix license agreements and work with Citrix contract team to ensure they are set up correctly in our system to allow for purchase
  • Account Management for existing end users: work with customers on license transfers, conversion requests, trade up reports, correct any licensing issues, merge records, customer requests and issues, track status and keeping relevant parties updated
  • Resolve or coordinate appropriate responses to customers, partners and Citrix teams or escalate independently to other teams for more complex issues
  • Order Issues/management, working with customer/FSM/Channel and Order Services to ensure order is booked and assets delivered to the client
  • Provide specific reports to Citrix sales and management
  • Prepare and places demo appliance orders, tracks demo progress, organize return requests
  • Deliver ad hoc trainings on Systems and Tools
  • Assist customers on all queries regarding the license portal system

Role Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree
  • Eagerness to always be learning, with a passion for technology
  • A persistent, self-starter with a track record of success in your academic career to date
  • A practical, problem-solver who possesses strong business and technical acumen, confidence, and maturity
  • Enthusiastic communicator with excellent listening, interpersonal and writing skills
  • Enterprise IT experience beneficial
  • Fluent in Danish, verbally and in writing
  • Eligible to work in Denmark

The role is available for an immediate start, for a period of 1 year, which could potentially be extended.
