We are currently looking for a motivated student assistant to support our Country Leader Philips AS/Nordic Lead Sleep and Respiratory Team for approx. 15 hours/week. You will be part of a dynamic team based in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The position could potentially be your launch pad for an exciting career in an adaptable global company, focusing on innovation, personal development, and with the goal to improve the lives of 3 billion people a year by 2025.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Country Manager/Nordic SRC Lead
  • Follow up on enquiries, emails and telephone calls
  • Assisting with e.g. meetings, agenda and meeting minutes
  • Working and follow-up autonomously on projects and activities
  • You will also get an opportunity to work on ad-hoc tasks based on your interests and the organization’s needs

Your ideal profile

  • You are a student within Business administration, Marketing, Economics or similar
  • You are a pro-active, detailed-oriented and energetic person
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment working with projects, data and documentation
  • You have excellent organizational skills and a great ability to work on own initiative

What are your rights?

If you would like to correct or update your Personal Data, Workday permits you to change the personal data you have provided in your account. You can enable this self-service functionality by signing in to your Workday profile account and then click on the link ‘Update contact information’.

If you would like to:

  • ask questions about how we handle Personal Data;
  • request to review, correct, update, suppress or restrict the use of your Personal Data;
  • request that your Personal Data be removed from our database;
  • object to our use of your Personal Data for our legitimate business interests, or
  • request to receive an electronic copy of your Personal Data for purposes of transmitting it to another company (to the extent this right to data portability is provided to you by applicable law),

In your request, please make clear what Personal Data you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your Personal Data suppressed from our database, or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of your Personal Data. For your protection, we only implement requests with respect to the Personal Data associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.

Please note that we need to retain certain information to complete the application procedure that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion (e.g., when you apply for a position, you are not be able to change or delete the relevant Personal Data provided until after the application procedure, unless you indicate that you wish to withdraw your application. There may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed.

How long will the Personal Data be kept?

We will retain your Personal Data for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and consistent with applicable law. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

  • the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you (for example, the length of time of the job application procedure);
  • whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject; or

For the purpose of the application procedure in Workday, we will retain your Personal Data for a period of four (4) weeks after the application procedure has ended.

If you choose to opt-in in order for Philips to contact you for future job positions, we will retain your Personal Data for a period of one (1) year.

If you are located in the United States and you apply for a position in the United States we will retain your personal data for a period of two (2) years after the application procedure has ended.

Jurisdiction and cross-border transfer

Your Personal Data can be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. By using Workday, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States of America, which can have data protection rules that are different from those of your country. In certain circumstances, courts, law enforcement agencies, regulatory agencies or security authorities in those other countries may be entitled to access your Personal Data.
