Service design intern in e-mobility innovation

In this position you will help set standards for the experience in a fast-emerging industry where Clever is already leading the way.

Be a part of the team working with customer experience & Innovation

We are a cross-disciplinary team with different areas of governance along the customer journey with the brand. You will get to work closely with every member to fine tune the roles of the various touchpoints in communicating our brand values and delivering the experience. The future of mobility and the challenges in this fast moving sector pushes us to innovate in our processes, and how we interact with our customers. By embracing new technologies and repurposing established platforms, we learn, build, and measure to improve with each iteration. However, technology is just an enabler and doesn’t dictate the solution. Our work is focused on the human component, and designing an experience based on insights from our research activities.

Innovating the service chain

As an intern, your main task will be to maintain our service eco-system mapping and highlight where we can innovate. You will work collaboratively with internal teams to identify opportunity spaces and how to approach them to Clever’s advantage.

Your service design skillset should include: 

  • Sketching (Post-it sessions, Storyboarding, Concept communication, etc.)
  • Image editing/manipulation (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Mapping (Vector based, Customer Journey, Opportunity, Organizational, systems)
  • Design thinking (User centered, Strategy, Methodologies, etc.)

What are we looking for in an intern?

We want an intern with dedication to their craft. Someone who can finish what they’ve started. A problem solver who is not afraid to step out of their comfort zone. You should know how to manage your time and be straight forward in your communication. But above all, you should know how to have a good time while making your contribution in a team dynamic.

The prospective candidate should: 

  • Be a graduate student (or advanced undergraduate) in service design or similar curriculum
  • Have a strong understanding of how organizations interact with their customers
  • Be able to visualize their ideas for storytelling
  • Write and speak English fluently

This is an unpaid internship for the 2019 spring cycle with a start date beginning of February and lasts 5 months.
