PROGRAM & EVENTS INTERN
Job description
As a Program & Events Intern, your job is to keep the Trampoline House Googlecal Program Calendar
and Special Events Calendar up to date in collaboration with the Program Director. In addition, you will
assist with producing our weekly newsletter to our users via Mailchimp, Facebook, and our text/SMS
service. You will assist with planning, organizing, and realizing different events in the house,
occasionally in collaboration with external partners.
Your primary task is to make sure that the users of Trampoline House are aware of the activities and
special events happening in the house via our website, social media, our text/SMS service, and during
the weekly house meeting where you will have the opportunity to communicate acitivity changes and
special events.
You are also responsible for answering incoming invitations to participate in external promotional
and/or fundraising events. All external event invitations are for you and the Program Director to decide
on whether to accept or not. Finally, you are responsible for finding presenters and guides for in-house
presentations and guided tours in the Danish asylum centers.


Responsibilities
• Update the text/SMS list on a weekly basis with phone numbers on new refugee interns
• Produce and distribute the weekly newsletter in collaboration with the Program Director
• Maintain and update the Special Events Calendars on the website and on Facebook
• Attend the weekly house meeting and announce any new events/cancellations relevant to the
users of the house
• Assist during the coordination, preparation, and hosting of various special events, e.g. our
monthly guided tours to asylum centers and in-house events
• Communication with people/organizations who invite Trampoline House to be present at an
external event
• Organize the advertising and team needed for events
• Communication with people/organizations who book guided tours and presentations in the
house and finding staff members and asylum-seeking representatives to do the
tours/presentations


Requirements
• You need to bring your own laptop to work with. A smartphone is also very useful
• Basic knowledge of Facebook, Mailchimp, Squarespace, and Googlecal
• Good Danish and English skills


Practical info
• It is necessary for you to be able to work on Mondays and Fridays
