Demand planning in PANDORA EMEA consist of 8 people of which 7 sit centrally in the Global Office in Copenhagen and 1 in Northern Europe (Hamburg). All report into the regional function in Copenhagen. We plan using Logility Voyager as our planning system and comprises elements like using statistical modelling, enhanced with business insights on planned promotions and new collections in a fixed weekly planning cadence.

Your primary responsibility will be to do the demand planning for selected portfolio of products and markets within EMEA. You will work with the local stakeholders in Copenhagen as well as our market clusters to gather market intelligence on new products, marketing activations and promotional activities. You will use these insights to enhance a statistically based demand plan in our planning solution Logility. Combining these elements you produce a transparent forecast that can be shared with relevant stakeholders and deploy the demand plan in Logility as a basis for the Supply Planning function to order products to one of the EMEA warehouses. The job is highly operational and very visible to the business with your results having direct impact on top and bottom line for the company. It does involve to a lesser degree project management in developing the new processes and tools/reporting needed to support the continuous improvement of the demand plan for the EMEA Demand Planning mission.

Your focus will be on challenging the markets on the quality of their input when enhancing a statistically based best possible forecast for your selected portfolio to be used in PANDORA’s vertically integrated value chain. To succeed in the job, it is key to develop strong relational ties to your main stakeholders as well using your insights from the markets in the interaction with the upstream value chain in Supply Planning, Customer Service and Warehouse.


  • Overall responsible for meeting the KPIs (forecast accuracy and bias) for your channels on different forecast accuracy metrics
  • Generate and validate the selected portfolio demand plan for jewelry and/or Point of Sales Materials (POSM)
  • Preparation of tools, reports formation and documentation required for meetings with local markets and the EMEA region (S&OP)
  • Development of processes interacting with markets on gathering intelligence to be added to the demand plan

We are a global company and travel days can be expected (>10 days a year)

Your Profile:

  • Interest in demand planning from studies or from a student assistant job within the discipline
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong networker with good people and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and of responsibility
  • Must be a team player
  • Fact based and ability to challenge input and numbers
  • Must have strong analytical skills and can manage large data sets
  • Statistical understanding is an advantage
  • Super user of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel (VBA) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Advanced Planning Systems
  • Ability to work independently, achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • University degree in Supply Chain management or comparable education
