About ushttps://edaptio.com is a learning platform currently used in the K12 and Higher Ed segment, and servicing client schools in all of Denmark. The platform and the technology behind it are dynamically developing to fit more and more use cases. The learning platform’s main focus is on optimizing personalized learning/differentiated learning on an individual level. This is done with the use of e.g. adaptive learning building on machine learning and advanced algorithms, which supports the knowledge acquisition of individual learners. Gamification and the visualization of learning is also employed, as to optimize motivation and engagement. While the focus of the platform is on optimizing individuals learning, then the platform also accounts for collaborative learning methods and peer-to-peer learning, however, presently to a lesser degree. At the heart of the platform, the system functions as a data hub and as the system integrates seamlessly with other tools, one is able to gather more data on individual learning behaviour than any other comparable tool. In the future, the idea is to apply big data analytics/learning analytics to better capture the learning journey and to better assist in optimizing the end-to-end learning process. Recently Bright Box has spun out of Edaptio. The idea behind Bright Box is bringing the technology into the corporate learning space and design, and facilitate better learning in work contexts. The close link between the two companies makes it an interesting case to work with whether you are interested in education or in L&D-technology.
