Student Assistant Data Analyst, Copenhagen



We are looking for a Student Assistant with strong SQL skills who is energized by data, technology and stakeholder management, in support of the greater good. This is an opportunity for you to use your theory in practice. You will mine data from our data lake, build views and map data enabling model simulation and data visualisations. You will be working with subject and data, expect scripting in Impala SQL and MS SQL.

Your future responsibilities
You will join the Management Information and Analysis team in Financial Crime Compliance. We are data experts within financial crime, with in-depth understanding of the requirements, underlying data and the infrastructure needed to achieve oversight of financial crime risk.

What you will be doing:

  • Work independently with various data project
  • Take directions and sparring with one of our data experts
  • Independently seek knowledge from subject experts
  • Take the resistibility needed to deliver the task assigned.

The role is based in Copenhagen. You will be working alongside experienced colleagues in both data analytics and financial crime compliance, who will work with you to improve your capability in both areas on a day-to-day basis.

Your profile and background:

  • Fluency in English both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of your task
  • A skilled user of SQL
  • Knowledge of Impale SQL functions is the advantage not a requirement
