Are you a detail-oriented student with a flair for numbers? And would you like to play an essential role for the success of our ambitious Intraday Power Trading team? Right now we are looking for a new colleague to our Trade Support team. The right candidate for this position thrives in a dynamic environment and find flexibility and process optimisation a natural part of work.

The main objective of the job is to support the Power Trading team, primarily in regards to deal capturing, requesting of capacities, and scheduling of electricity flows to ensure overall balance in the power grids where we operate. The job includes daily routines, contact with counterparties and exchanges, and development of tools using VBA and SQL programming. You will work in close cooperation with the power traders and your Trade Support colleagues.

  • scheduling and balancing of internal and external electricity flows on a quarter hourly basis
  • help covering the daily shifts from 7:00-15:00 and 15:00-21:15 seven days a week
  • ensure validity of data
  • develop Excel tools
  • assist the trading team with various ad hoc assignments
  • work approx. 20 hours per week

We expect that you:

  • are enrolled in a university level education within Economics, Finance, Logistics or similar
  • have knowledge of Excel
  • are preferably fluent in Danish
  • have an excellent command of English – both written and oral
  • are logically thinking and mathematically well grounded
  • work analytically and structured
  • are reliable and quality conscious
