Law Student Assistant for Global Engineering Company (Søborg)

Who are we?

Do you want to work for an engineering company executing projects around the globe and work with experienced in-house lawyers from different countries? Also, do you want to gain experience with contract, construction and intellectual property law and to be able to navigate in a global business? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for to join our team.

GEA Process Engineering A/S is a company of the GEA Group. GEA Group is one of the largest suppliers of process technology for the food industry and a wide range of other industries. The international technology group focuses on process technology and components for sophisticated production processes in various end-user markets.

What will you do?

Your work will primarily consist of supporting the 5 in-house lawyers based in Denmark in a wide variety of tasks such as conducting research, preparing draft contracts, marking up confidentiality agreements, preparing / revising training materials, assisting with various administrative matters / invoicing, etc.

Your profile and qualifications:
Who are you?

The ideal candidate should have completed at least his/her 2nd or 3rd year of law school (BA.jur or Cand.jur) and be interested in contract, construction and international comparative law. You should be fluent in English.

We expect that you:

  • are quality conscious and have an eye for detail
  • want to use your theory in practice and are dedicated and efficient
  • are independent and pro-active
  • thrive in a high-paced environment
  • have the positive view that no job is too big or too small

Working time is flexible, but you should be available, on average, between 15 – 20 hours per week (excluding exam periods / holidays).
