PR Coordinator to join Saxo Bank’s communications department
Do you want to work at Denmark’s first and largest Fintech and are you currently studying for your Bachelor or Master’s degree looking for practical experience within public relations and communication? Then you might just be the PR coordinator we are looking for to strengthen our communications department. Saxo Bank is the most international financial institution in Denmark with clients in 170 countries and employees from 60 different nationalities.

The communications department is responsible for handling and coordinating all external communication across the Group’s 16 international offices as well as assisting the Executive Team and general senior management. Your role will mainly be within external communication, although tasks within internal communication might occur.

The role
As a PR coordinator in Saxo Bank’s communications department, your role is to contribute and assist the global communication efforts. You will in particular be responsible for:
• Preparing and distributing a daily media survey
• Conducting monthly and quarterly analyses
• Contributing to telling the Saxo Bank story
• Developing messaging and strategic communication plans in close cooperation with the bank’s other departments
• Distribute analyses and commentaries produced by Saxo Bank’s Chief Economist and strategy team
• Answer Danish and international press inquires
• Write draft press releases
• Keeping bios, factsheets and company presentations updated
• Ad hoc work within communications

Your profile
• You are studying a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within public relations, communication or marketing
• You have knowledge of, or have a keen interest in learning more about financial markets
• You have excellent communication skills in English. Fluency in Danish is an asset, but not a requirement
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft’s office products as Excel and Powerpoint and experience with Adobe Analytics, InDesign and Photoshop is an advantage
• You have strong communication skills combined with the ability to establish effective internal and key stakeholder relationships
• You are flexible, independent and a team player with the ability to take responsibility and contribute with ideas.
