Are you a Bachelor or Master Student, and do you want practical experience with project management and execution, training and quality management systems (QMS) within Novo Nordisk? Then you might be the new intern we are looking for in Diabetes Finish Products Quality Assurance (DFP QA) Support.

About the department
DFP QA Support primarily focus on project execution with the purpose of increasing focus to operational QMS implementation in DFP QA. As our new intern, you will spend your day with a team of dedicated colleagues in a great atmosphere at our facilities in Bagsværd. Together, we are responsible for managing projects and training across DFP QA globally. The team values the capable exchange of knowledge and experience, and you can look forward to entering into an energetic and positive working environment, where cooperation is key.

The position
You will become well acquainted with some of our key activities and will be an integrated part of the department from day one, helping us to deal with some of the tasks that need to be done on an everyday basis. You will have the opportunity to drive a “Lean focused” improvement project. This project will allow you to create a real, positive change in Novo Nordisk based on your interests, competencies and education plan.

As an intern, you will have weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager. These sessions will not only help you find your way around the department and your tasks during the internship, but also educate you and develop your professional abilities in the processes and framework of a regulated industry like Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, you will develop your future career skills throughout your internship with opportunities to enrol in different kinds of activities and courses. Novo Nordisk also has a large student community within which you can expand your network and meet similarly passionate interns and students.

This internship is an excellent position to begin a career within quality management. Our preferred setup is listed below:

  • Internship period: 6 months
  • Working hours: 37 hours per week
  • Start Date: 01 January 2020
  • Salary: 12,000 DKK per month (plus company pension contribution)
  • A Danish full time work permit is required

We are looking for one intern who is passionate about combining business with quality. You may be studying within Health and Medical Sciences, Pharma, Engineering, Business or an entirely different field. Most importantly you share our passion for quality, training and project management and are keen to acquire professional competencies and learn the tricks of the trade.

You are well organised, independent, and have a good analytical sense. We expect you to have a certain flair for data, IT, systems and process optimisation and some experience with group project work. You are ambitious and ready to be part of our on-going effort to improve our high standards, including ensuring that new ways of working are implemented smoothly. You are a responsible, outgoing person with a strong work ethic. You approach your tasks meticulously, and you are attracted by the opportunity to use your quality management skills in the ever changing and complex working environment. The position requires proficiency in English and some Danish is a plus.
