This event addresses foreign academics’ difficulties finding employment in Denmark. Career consultant Kate Dahl (American living in Denmark for the past 4.5 years in the sales start-up tech industry) will take you through her own history and knowledge of what works and what doesn’t. Tips and Tricks: Job searching in Denmark touches on themes such as how to best brand yourself as an international, how to communicate to Danish companies your value and how to land a job in Denmark with some tips and tricks based on her own life experiences.
There will also be two guest speakers to talk about their own experiences on how to get a job in Denmark:
Mia Gregor is is from Croatia and a MSc student in Computer Science at SDU. She has been working in Denmark for a few months Helphouse as a Junior Developer, where she will give tips and tricks on how to land a student job in Denmark.
Carlos Monteiro currently works as the Head of Partnerships at Ucommerce and is from Brazil. He will gives tips and tricks on how to network to land a job in Denmark and go from company/freelancer to landing a position.
