Imagine a future where you accelerate your career with a global green energy leader

The Ørsted Graduate Programme is designed to unleash your potential and give you a unique opportunity of a fast-tracked career in Ørsted. We offer you an intense two-year developmental journey where you’ll learn from experts within your field and get international project experience, tools to drive innovation and a strong cross-functional network with other talents.

The Graduate journey
Our Graduate Programme consists of two-three rotations, where you’ll solve business challenges, be responsible for your own assignments and be engaged in our day-to-day business decisions.

In your rotations, you’ll work with the ownership and operations of our offshore wind farms across the globe. This will include working on high-profile strategic projects that either shape the way we operate and maintain our offshore wind farms or increase the value of the asset business cases. In addition to working on strategic projects, you’ll have a chance to work with our most important stakeholders; our JV partners who co-own our offshore wind farms.

You’ll play an important role in

  • analysing Operation & Maintenance concepts and strategies, employing problem-solving skills to further optimise our business unit’s potential
  • optimising business cases alongside experienced Commercial Project Managers, and together you’ll deliver strategic projects and commercial contracts
  • supporting core external stakeholder management by managing selected JV partner investors on our portfolio of offshore wind farms
  • preparing decision material, including business cases and recommendations for senior management
  • planning and driving workshops and events with project stakeholders and assisting colleagues with other ad hoc tasks.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have

  • a master’s degree in finance, economics, business or engineering from before 1 September 2020 with excellent results
  • strong analytical skills, a high level of personal drive and a high learning ability
  • the ability to develop, visualise and communicate concepts and ideas
  • the ability to interact with a wide-ranging group of stakeholders across the organisation
  • an international, collaborative mindset and an ambition to be the best in your field.

You’ll speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate efficiently in a global setting. Moreover, a fair amount of travel should be expected, and you’ll also have the opportunity to take an extended business trip to one of our global offices.
