The Graduate journey
Our Graduate Programme consists of two-three rotations, where you’ll solve business challenges, be responsible for your own assignments and be engaged in our day-to-day business decisions.
In your rotations, you’ll work on cable related processes, spanning from the assessment of desktop studies, building geoscientific shallow ground models over cable trenching and route clearance assessments to planning and executing offshore cable installation activities.
You’ll play an important role in
- bridging the interfaces between the geophysics and seabed surveys, geotechnical engineering and the offshore cable installation teams
- gaining hands-on experience in the cable installation teams and with the key technical challenges we face when maturing large complex projects
- assessing large amounts of data and contributing to data collection and analysis related to your own competence areas
- optimising work procedures in order to increase efficiency and reduce cost of poor quality
- assisting colleagues with other ad hoc tasks.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have
- a master’s degree in geoscience from before 1 September 2020 with excellent results
- a solid understanding of geophysics and geology, preferably with insights into geotechnical engineering disciplines
- an understanding of a broad spectrum of geophysical data (e.g. MBES, SSS, Mag, SBP, S-UHRS and M-UHRS)
- strong analytical skills, a high level of personal drive and a high learning ability
- an interest in following the implementation of initiatives from office to offshore installation
- an international, collaborative mindset and an ambition to be the best in your field.
You’ll speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate efficiently in a global setting. Moreover, you’ll have the opportunity to travel up to 30 days annually.
