Postdoc of Higher Education Research

Københavns Universitet (KU)

University of Copenhagen (UCPH) is seeking a researcher at the postdoc level to investigate research integration in teaching. The position is part of a university wide strategic initiative that aims at increasing research integration and making it visible to students in the university’s programmes. As part of the initiative, teachers at UCPH will develop and test new formats for research integration, and the postdoc is expected to conduct research on these development projects, and to convey results and inspiration for further development to teachers across the university.

It is expected that research in the project will build on close collaboration with involved stakeholders (mainly teachers) as well as on the integration of development and research, as is known from, e.g., design-based research, action research and other participatory research traditions.

The postdoc’s duties will include research within higher education teaching and learning as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

The postdoc will be affiliated with the Department of Science Education. Further information on the Department is linked at https://www.science.ku.dk/english/about-the-faculty/organisation/.
