The Role

Are you interested in working in a company committed to the development of new anticancer treatments to patients? By joining Genmab Clinical Operations Department as a student assistant you will enter a truly international biotechnology company headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, with operations globally.

As a Student Assistant in Clinical Operations you will become part of an engaged and experienced group of clinical trial team members who operationalize the science and strategy of Genmab trials and projects. You will not only gain insight into cancer disease areas but also get a feel for the end-to-end process of clinical development.


Your primary tasks will include:

  • Support the clinical contract signature process including follow up and archiving
  • Develop and maintain various excel sheets
  • Support with key performance indicator measurements and status reports
  • Create and maintain SharePoint sites
  • Maintain employees’ training plans and dossiers
  • Handle clinical trial documentation incl. indexing and electronic archiving
  • Support development of training material, presentations, training calendar etc.
  • Schedule meetings and teleconferences
  • Copying
  • Ad hoc tasks which match your interests and competences

  • You are studying natural, medical or health science and have a minimum of 2 years left of your education
  • Familiar with MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint and with a flair for navigating different IT systems
  • Passionate, eager to learn, flexible and dedicated
  • Able to work independently as well as in teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines and competing priorities
  • Great attention to detail
  • Write and speak fluent English

We expect you to be working 10-15 hours per week with flexible hours.

As a Student Assistant in Clinical Operations you will work in close collaboration with many dedicated colleagues and stakeholders. The Clinical Operations department is a part of the Clinical Development department and is responsible for managing clinical trials including planning, conducting and reporting of clinical trials. We work in teams and collaborate with many external partners and vendors.
