Student programmer

ILIAS NVO is looking for a student programmer majoring in Computer Science, Mathematical Modeling, Electrical Engineering or a similar field.

You will work with firmware for embedded devices, IoT, telematics and newest cloud-technology. ILIAS NVO is working on Machine Learning and AI for predictive analysis of data from vehicles and other machinery in the military market.

Your tasks will include writing software for rapid prototyping of new ideas (including new hardware) and as well as writing finalized code for production use. As the products we supply needs to stand up to the rigors of military use, we place a great amount of importance on reliability, code quality and thorough testing.

You have:

• Experience with programming in C (ANSI)
• Good understanding of the importance of code quality
• Experience with a scripting language like Python or Lua
• Good drafting skills in English

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Using a real-time operating system (we use FreeRTOS)
• Git version control system
• DevOps technologies such as Jenkins etc.
• The field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

You will be part of ILIAS Solutions - a very successful international company, with a pragmatic and energetic work approach.

We offer:

• Flexible working hours (8-12 per week, during school year, with opportunity to working more during the holidays)
• Hourly rate: 150 kr/hour for bachelor student, 180 kr/hour for master students
• Duration: Temporary with long term possibility, depending on performance and funding

ILIAS NVO is a product group development center of ILIAS Solutions. We consist of a small team of individual specialists in the area of statistics, AI and data science.

Corporate headquarters are in Brussels. The work place will be at our office in the DTU Science Park in Lyngby.
