Hempel has an ambitious goal of doubling Hempel’s revenue in the next five years, and as a Pioneer Graduate, we expect you to be a vital part of that. During the 18-month programme you will get a deep understanding of our business, our values and our way of leading people. Through intensive on-the-job experiences, executive mentoring, training weeks, you will get a career where no one sets the limit for you but become the best you can be.

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated person with an HR profile with a love for analytics, a global mindset and a passion for collaborating closely with our business units to develop our people and organizations throughout Hempel.

  • Lead key HR strategic projects for the region, which involve working side by side with the People & Culture Director, and whole HR Team.
  • Develop & lead key HR Analytical processes and support the organization with the global people metrics.
  • Create and implement regional HR dashboard and analytics.
  • Lead the organization towards a data driven and insight led culture.
  • Work with Group (Corporate) to evolve the people analytics platform across the organization.

Your home base will be at our North America facility in Conroe, Texas (North of Houston). Your position is global, so you get a six-month placement abroad. You’ll experience life and work in other cultures. You’ll build a global network of like-minded lighthouse leaders – ready to take Hempel to another level.

  • You have graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree within the last two years or will graduate from university or business school no later than 1 September 2021.
  • You have a collaborative and inclusive mindset and are eager to build strong relationships across a global organisation.
  • Most importantly, you’re ambitious and possess the drive and ability to become a future leader. You’re motivated by making a difference - and by making other people shine.

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in HRM, MBA (or similar)
  • Prior HR internship, or experience working in a global company
  • Basic knowledge of Project Management and experience leading in a diverse and global environment.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Collaborative approach and passionate about learning
  • Believe that inspiring confidence, being socially committed, connecting to customers and constantly challenging are key factors to successfully driving business results
