Are you currently studying for a degree in sustainability and looking for hands-on experience? Then you might be the new student assistant we are looking for in our Corporate Facilities ‘Circular for Zero’ Incubator.

The job
As our new student assistant, you will support ‘Circular for Zero’ investigations and initiatives across all service areas of Corporate Facilities. Using your analytical competencies and sustainability background, you will;

• perform business case deep-dives,
• work to discover new business and sustainability opportunities,
• support with driving discovery sprints,
• ensure the quality of environmental tracking data,
• analyse and transform data into clear and engaging presentations

With all of this, you will help us track and achieve steps in fighting climate change. In your job, you will engage in dialogue with stakeholders at all levels regarding initiatives of many kinds. You will gather and compile data, use Qlik Sense and Power BI to analyse and prepare presentation material for internal use.

You will also liaise with project managers and our corporate communications department to support the development of internal and external communication, promoting the sustainability efforts and achievements of our business area.

Practicalities
Workplace; Novo Nordisk HQ in Bagsværd

The position is 2-3 days/week with flexible work hours

Start date: April 1st 2021

Duration: 12 months

Qualifications
You are currently studying for a degree in sustainability or business innovation with a significant element of sustainability and/or environment. Our ‘Circular for Zero’ strategy is based on Circular Economy, thus knowledge of this is an advantage.

We expect you to;

• have strong analytical skills,
• have experience with analysis of large quantities of data and full command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• have experience with an agile project management framework
• preferable have experience in photography

As a person you have a can-do attitude, are self-driven, structured and an excellent communicator. It is a requirement that you are fluent in both spoken and written Danish and English.

About the department
Real estate, Joint operations & Finance is part of the Corporate Facilities business unit in Novo Nordisk. Our focus is on managing our financials and real estate assets, and strategically driving digitalisation and environmental sustainability efforts.

The available position is in the ‘Circular for Zero Incubator’ team. We manage a large portfolio of sustainability initiatives at multiple impact and maturity levels, some spanning the entire organisation. We drive ideation and work to systematically and strategically implement ‘Circular for Zero’ initiatives.
