Core Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Responsible Sourcing in Billund (DK) you will lead dialogues with electronic component suppliers and negotiate on responsible sourcing requirements. You will collaborate with Procurement on vendor selections, and moreover, you will:

• Enhance the Responsible Sourcing program management for electronic suppliers, including securing compliance with requirements on conflict minerals
• Perform ongoing compliance work internally
• Engage with suppliers and licensing partners on Responsible Business Principles
• Onboard new suppliers
• Identify root causes of non-compliances
• Encourage to continuous improvement including training
• Follow up on audits, specifically for electronic suppliers

As Senior Manager taking part in The Responsible Sourcing team, you will aim to ensure that the LEGO Group’s ethical, social, and environmental requirements are met by suppliers, licensing partners and at the LEGO Group's production sites

These requirements are set out in the LEGO Group Responsible Business Principles (RBP) that all strategic suppliers and license partners must adhere to.

The key focus is to ensure, that anyone involved in producing LEGO Group's products have fair and decent working conditions, as well as safeguarding children and minimizing environmental impacts.

Do you have what it takes?
Ideally hold a bachelor’s degree, MBA or Masters in a related field, and you have at least 7 years of experience in managing social compliance within retail or supply chains. In addition, you bring:

• Experience with the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct compliance and have ideally been working within a global Consumer Electronics brand or within the Electronics industry
• Knowledge on conflict minerals requirements as well as Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (PACE)
• Solid experience in vendor selection and contract negotiation, preferably within the above industries
• Experience in mapping and assessing social compliance communicating this to key partners
• Practice in reading and analyzing social audits, with expertise across a range of audit types (SMETA, ICTI/IETP, SA8000, BSCI etc.)
• Solid knowledge and deep interest in international human and labor rights and CSR standards
• A collaborative approach end experience in working within global teams, understanding, and mastering the cultural diversity
• Flexibility towards travelling regularly within Europe (UK, DK) with some long-haul trips possible (e.g. to Asia 2-3 times per year)
• Influential skills to driving results in complex organizations, involving various stakeholders
• Solid English language skills both written and verbal
