Are you our new Architectural Technologist Intern?
Do you want to work alongside talented architectural technologists and architects on ambitious and complex projects where challenging constructional solutions and innovative architecture will be the focal point of your development? As an intern at SHL, you get to:

• Take part in one or more of our international and Danish projects e.g. extension of the Aros Museum
• Work on complex project design from the architect’s sketches to the final project including construction and building technology together with a team of dedicated and experienced colleagues
• Focus on structure and modeling principles in the BIM models, participation in meetings, quality assurance, etc.
• Test your knowledge and skills on complex BIM projects in Denmark or abroad, as BIM is a foundation of our digital process and we are on the leading edge when it comes to implementation of new digital working methods and techniques
• Participate in an exciting learning program where our studios’ experts will introduce you to the most important areas within architecture and building technology with topics like sustainability, project development, build, BIM, concept development and business development.
• Get a SHL mentor throughout your internship, who supports you in your development, gives you feedback and where you together prepare realistic learning goals for you to accomplish within the project’s framework
• Get a strong foundation for your education and a future career in the architectural industry

• An opportunity to get hands-on experience with relevant processes and practices
• To be part of educational and social events including the monthly intern-run Friday Bar

We expect that you:

• Are currently studying Architectural Technology as this internship is only for students still enrolled in school
• Are intrigued to learn, and have the mentality “where there is a will there is a way”
• Know when to raise the flag, and are willing to engage in discussions and ask if anything seems unclear
• Are passionate and ambitious, and in return we promise to push your limits and move your comfort zone

Practical information:
If you wish to excel yourself and be fully prepared for your final semester with hard, real world application, then we will help you get there in the most pragmatic manner possible.

The position is open for students** in both the Copenhagen and Aarhus offices, from August 2021 to January 2022 with the possibility of extanding.

As an expression of appreciation for the work you put into your internship, you will get a monthly financial gratuity in accordance with Danish law.
