Data Coordinator for Omnicom Media Group (trainee position)

Are you a big fan of data and analytics; and looking for an interesting trainee position in a media Agency? One of the biggest media agencies in Denmark, Omnicom Media Group, is looking for a trainee in the Nordic Accountability unit; a unit monitoring buying performance across agencies within Omnicom Media Group in the Nordic region.

Our goal is to develop and create a best practice within tracking media buying; developing smart ways of handling and controlling data and ensuring a continuous follow up on the buying performance.

We are looking for a committed person with a flair for and interest in data and analytics, taking great pride in delivering high quality and who enjoys keeping several balls in the air at a time.

The position

Working hours will be around 15-20 hours per week, and the schedule is flexible particularly when you have exams. As a trainee you will be a part of the daily work collecting data, structuring data, and measuring performance across all media groups. You will achieve a wide knowledge of buying practices in all the different media groups and across the markets.

We can offer a challenging student job, with great opportunities to further develop your skills within analytics and data management.

It is an advantage if you speak either Danish, Swedish or Norwegian.

The perfect candidate

We will look for someone with a profile matching the following criteria

  • Are working on your bachelor’s degree, or are starting a relevant candidate degree (this could be a bachelor at CBS, or a master possibly within marketing, math’s, or digital management)
  • Have great numeracy skills and an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Can work independently and is well organized
  • Have experience with MS Excel
  • Skills with VBA coding and/or data visualization tools such as Power BI will be considered an advantage
