In this strongly competence dependent role you will drive scientific publications with internal and external stakeholders and support our innovation and market expansion projects.
Join a passionate department within the Innovation Unit
You will join our high-performing team consisting of project managers, biostatisticians, data managers and medical writers. The department is part of a newly established Innovation Unit and we are responsible for defining the clinical pipeline and strategic plan of activities generating evidence and delivering strong clinical data for Market Access and Market uptake.
You will help define and deliver on our publication strategy
As a Medical Writer you will be engaged in several stages in the projects and help define the communication strategy and storyline of our scientific publications. You will be the one to author and submit scientific articles and abstracts for publication in scientific journals, such as biomedical peer-reviewed journals.
To accomplish this, you will:
- Collaborate with a team on defining publication potential, scope and plan
- Assess relevant scientific journals and suggest target journals to the team
- Prepare or review manuscripts to fulfil our ambition of communicating our clinical evidence
- Coordinate manuscript preparation with external writers – when these are necessary – and assist with input, proofreading and document completion
You will likewise prepare clinical evaluation reports, clinical investigation reports and other scientific documentation as needed.
Medical writer with high communication skills
Truly dedicated to your field, you have a continuous focus on building and maintaining expertise on product areas to produce scientifically relevant and accurate publications. You pay great attention to detail and your ability to structure your tasks efficiently means that you deliver on time.
Furthermore, you have:
- A master’s degree in health care, medical or life science and preferably a PhD
- Experience as a medical writer, working with clinical study design, statistical methodology and literature research as well as writing and editing publications of clinical studies for peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Excellent written communication skills in English and a clear and concise approach to writing
