As part of a self-planning and very well-functioning team, you are directly involved in all important decisions. You work with both development and optimisations across many exciting projects. You will have maximum flexibility with working hours and place – as long as it’s agreed in the team, everything is possible. You will have a sound work life balance, 37 working hours per week. And not to forget, your ongoing development is highly prioritized and actively supported with courses, certifications etc.

Development of systems for student administration and global science projects

Your focus is to support DTU to further develop the position as globally recognised elite university. Your solution-oriented approach will enable administering relations to approx. 11,500 students and to support world-class science projects that involves thousands of partners, globally.

Apart from supporting the education of the Engineers of tomorrow, you will also contribute to solve some of the biggest challenges in history of mankind, such as development of environmental friendly and bio sustainable fertilizers and pesticides with a potential of totally changing farming world-wide.

The foundation for your work is our Dynamics CRM platform and you will unfold your skills from smaller local solutions to major and global solutions by utilizing the latest technologies. A good example of one of the future fields of interests that you will play a role in, is Azure cloud. Your primary tasks will involve:

  • Further development of our ESDH system
  • Further development of new worldwide research solutions
  • Raising solutions for Azure cloud and securing relevant integrations
  • Development of new CRM / xRM solutions as well as further development of existing solutions
  • Development of change requests on existing solutions
  • Requirements specification work with customers and project managers

Naturally, you will also be in close dialogue with the customers in various business areas, Architects and System Managers in relation to development and design of solutions.

Team worker with planning skills, customer orientation and Dynamics experience

We are looking for a colleague with the ability to work independently and self-managed whilst taking responsibility within the team as a true team player. As such, you must be able to drive your own tasks forward and deliver as agreed and at the same time share your ideas and experiences in the team – and be curious on learning new stuff. Related to this, you must thrive in an environment with on-going changes across technologies, organisation etc. You are customer-oriented and have an overview of technologies that enable solutions to meet the customers’ needs and requirements. Additionally, your CV includes:

  • A degree with focus on IT
  • Experience with development and configuration of Dynamics CRM / xRM
  • Experience with the .NET platform in general and specifically C#
  • Experience with Custom Workflows and Plugins

The following skills will be an added benefit: MS SQL Server, JavaScript, Reporting services, Azure and third-party solutions/tools.

Your new team

You will join a super well-functioning and harmonic team of four developers, a system Manager and a system integrator at the DTU main Campus in Lyngby, Copenhagen. Our work is founded on the strategy “IT centred on humans” and we aim to have a 70/30 split between development tasks and time for optimisations and personal development.

We have no manager in the team, meaning that we work independently and with maximum flexibility. This also means that we can only succeed if all of us contribute, by sharing ideas and knowledge. Related to this, we highly prioritize and invest in on-going development. DTU is a great workplace and we just look forward to welcoming you to the team.

Salary and terms of employment

The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
