The Department of Management at Aarhus University, School of Business and Social Sciences, invites candidates to apply for a position as research assistant. The successful candidate is expected to take up the appointment from 01/08/2021 or subject to mutual agreement.

The research assistant will work on an EU funded project called DIGYMATEX. The length of employment as research assistant will be 1 year. The research project
The project DIGYMATEX wishes to provide clear evidence on how children’s digital maturity impacts information and communication technologies (ICT) behavior of children at the ages of 9–18. Thus, the project applies an inter-disciplinary, multi-method approach by integrating and connecting expertise, methods and knowledge from different research areas such as business management, psychology, sociology, neuroscience, media and information systems. Qualification
The qualification requirement for appointment as research assistant is at least a Master's degree, including academic experience with marketing and/or business intelligence.

The research assistant is involved in data collection, study design and data analysis. The candidate is also expected to contribute to the other phases of the research process, including writing academic papers and reports, and participation in the ongoing development of the projects in collaboration with other researchers in the project team.

Candidates with working knowledge to handle data, preferable quantitative, including use of basic statistical, quantitative analysis techniques is required. Advanced knowledge about topic modelling, natural language processing or related machine learning techniques is a plus.

The Department of Management is one of the six departments at Aarhus BSS, one of the five faculties at Aarhus University.
