Student Assistant – Master of Sustainable Leadership

Do you aspire to be at the forefront of the future of sustainability leadership? 
We are looking for a structured student assistant with interest and expertise in sustainability to assist in coordinating and building a new Master Programme on Sustainable Leadership. The master is created in a collaboration between DTU and Ledernes Hovedorganisation.

The job
The participants of the master program are early career executives looking to strengthen their sustainability leadership capacity and skills. Your task will be to assist in developing content for the education modules, coordinating events, and actively engaging with external stakeholders. 

Our expectations of you
The following qualifications are essential to successfully completing the task:

  • Interest and knowledge in sustainability
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Organizing and project management skills; making deadlines and overseeing to do lists
  • Stakeholder management skills: Engaging with speakers and external guests on substance matters
  • International experience and attitude
  • Fluency in Danish is an asset

The position is in the student assistant team in DTU Learn for life. 80% of your time will be spend in supporting the program directors in building and executing the new master. The remaining 20% are allocated to supporting the center overall. Assignments for the center consists of:

  • Support for events in the house.
  • Student assistant team meetings.
  • Morning and evening shifts in the kitchen on teaching days.
  • Ad hoc assignments.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organisations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State).

Working hours are on average 12 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc.

Starting date is 15/08 (or according to mutual agreement). The employment runs as long as you are an active student.

The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
