About the department
This is an exciting opportunity to join an international, high performing team in Køge, Denmark. The Sales & Marketing Department consists of a global sales team with offices in the US and Singapore, a team of Product Managers managing the lifecycle of existing products and investigating new business opportunities, Customer Support and Marketing.

The position
You will work with the Sales & Marketing department to plan and execute the Sales and Marketing initiatives, including the new exiting Go-to-Market plan for new products. You will work in close collaboration with the Sales team to establish the correct strategies and approaches in the market. In this role, you will perform market assessment within the biopharmaceutical market. In addition, you will help to develop and ensure timely updates to our internal tools, work with team members to develop new strategies, and assist with managing the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) Salesforce. You will also support occasionally our business development team with various tasks.

  • Internship period: The internship position is a full-time position for six months.
  • Start date: 01.11.2021 or sooner if possible
  • Internships are compensated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full-time work permit is required, and you need to be a student to apply for the position
  • The internship is placed at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S in Koege.

We are looking for a student intern who is passionate about sales. You are currently studying for your master’s degree in a business subject with a background in biotechnology/biopharma, economics or similar. Strong knowledge or/and previous experience in Go-to-Market activities, understanding B2B within the bioprocessing industry would be an added benefit. We expect candidates to be customer orientated as there can be exposure to customers from time to time. Fluency in oral and written English, ability to manage a large volume of projects (with supervision), sound personal judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have a professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take the initiative. In addition, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. Finally, you must have a strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your learning.

Applicants must be enrolled into studies through the entire internship. At this moment we can only accept applicants from EU, as you are expected to work from Denmark.
