Join us as an intern and be a part of building our new audio facilities in Graz, working in our state-of-the-art acoustic lab.

Your mission
As our new intern in Acoustics & Research, you will help us build up our new facilities in Graz including an anechoic chamber, a listening room and acoustic/ electronic lab areas. From the very first day you start your internship, your mentor will closely guide you throughout your time with us.

Please note that it is a prerequisite to be a student at an Austrian university/ FH for the entire duration of the internship. We predicted that you will be working approximately 20 hours per week, but we are flexible around specific days and hours.

You can look forward to:

• Working with colleagues responsible for acoustic research, digital signal processing, machine learning and interaction, electro acoustics and acoustical principles for our products.
• Collaborating with our engineers on setting up a multichannel ambisonic digital speaker system, port existing setups to the new facility.
• Measuring and improving room acoustics in our listening room.
• Work on research tasks for future audio products.

You will work alongside our passionate researchers and engineers as an equal member of our team and therefore have a great impact on different parts of our creative processes.

Location: Graz, Austria.

Thriving with technical challenges, you are highly self-driven, and with your ambitious spirit, you have a clear vision of what you would like to get out of your internship and the knowledge you would like to gain while working with us.

Moreover, you bring:

• Experience on Digital Signal Processing
• Experience with room acoustic treatment/ measurement
• Good hands-on professionalism and an eye for quality
• Experience with professional audio equipment/ cabling and soldering
• The desire to be part of a great team and social environment
• Good English language communications and writing skills
