Become part of a tailored Trainee Program – in a global setting
The duration of the traineeship is 2 years and includes attendance to the well-recognized Danish Shipping Academy in Copenhagen and will include courses in Copenhagen requiring physical attendance as well as online training courses. The result will be a professional Bachelor´s degree within shipping. Besides attending the Danish Shipping Academy, you are also offered tailored training opportunities on our own international business academy. You will get a dedicated mentor within the trading team, who will take the lead in your theoretical learning, providing detailed training on the industry.

Your primary work location might be Middelfart, however, by being part of our trainee program the whole world becomes your playground and the possibility to complete some of the traineeship in one of our other offices across the globe is also an option.

Additional parts of your training

• Understanding the trading market, customer needs, negotiate prices and closing deals
• Introduction to tools, platforms and network
• Participating in client and supplier visits and approaching new business
• Identifying business opportunities and support business development activities
• Exposure to day-to-day trading of bunker fuel and work closely with both internal as well as external stakeholders

Team oriented profile with a natural talent for sales
As a Bunker Trader Trainee, it is not a must to have a specific educational degree to apply. Knowledge of the industry is off course an advantage, but it is not a must. Most importantly you have the motivation, passion, drive, and energy to become a successful salesperson with a strong winner mentality.

Additionally, you are:

• social with a proactive approach to sales
• An ambitious individual with a high level of energy and willing to learn
• Fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English. A 3rd language would be considered an advantage
