It is a requirement that you currently are or will be enrolled in an ongoing master’s level education programme at the start of the internship and should be able to have your internship transferred into university credits
and that a work permit
can be obtained for the duration of the internship. It is possible to take time off to work on school assignments, internship reports or exam preparation, but we should be informed about any university workload or other obligation you might need to attend to in your motivation letter.

International students (or students based outside of Denmark) should be aware that this is an unpaid position (as Denmark provides students studying in Denmark with a stipend to study and undertake internships) and we thus encourage international students to seek and apply for a grant/scholarship that would allow them to cover the living costs in Denmark.

The position is full-time and based in Copenhagen. We offer up to six-months internships, and duration and starting date (preferably in August or September) can be negotiated.

The Danish Institute for Human Rights appreciates diversity in the workplace. If qualified, we strongly encourage you to apply for the position.

Please send a CV and a cover letter, indicating your suitability for the internship and availability (start/end dates), through the link on this page. Please pay attention to language requirements. Deadline for applications is 16 June

We expect to conduct interviews within 14 days of the deadline - in person or via Teams.

Should you have any questions about the position, please contact Magdalena Ruiz Liard Krysa ([email protected]).
