Graphic Design Intern for Developing the Design Identity of a New Danish Outdoor Brand

About Us:
We are a start-up on a mission to revolutionize outdoor life with products tailored to modern outdoor enthusiasts and beginners alike. We develop battery-powered outdoor equipment that makes it easy for people to enjoy nature. We are looking for an intern, who can create a graphic identity that reflects our values, showcases our products, and speaks to our target audience.

We are a small team based at the Valbytag co-working space, where we share social activities from everyday lunch, and Friday breakfasts to Christmas parties and Friday bars, with other small companies, in the Valby Tag community.

Job tasks:
As our graphic design intern, you will play a central role in developing our visual identity. Your tasks will include:

• Design guide: Create a design guide that must include a guide for both web and print, with a description of the use of colors, typography, etc.
• Web design: Designing our website to be informative, intuitive, and aesthetically appealing.
• Packaging design: Creating design and layout for packaging, that lives up to demands from production, shipping, retailers, and marketing demands, ensuring the product stands out among competing products and brands in store.
• Pitch deck: Updating the visual expression of a pitch deck for presentations and investor meetings.
• SOME: Generating graphic content for social media and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

• You are a student in graphic design or related fields.
• A creative approach to design.
• Experienced and comfortable in working self-guided in graphic design software such as Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), or similar tools.
• The ability to blend aesthetics with functionality.
• A basic understanding of digital marketing and user experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Capable of writing in English at a professional level
• Passion for outdoor life would be a plus.

Practical Information:

• Internship Period: Autumn 2023, Specific dates and length of internship can be adjusted to suit your education.
• Location: Valbytag, Gammel Køgelandvej 55, 5th floor
• Please note it is an unpaid internship
