The role:
We are looking for two Student Accounting Interns (part-time) to join our Finance Accounting hub in Hanoi, Vietnam. You will assist our agile CFO team, which includes Finance & Accounting, Commercial, Digital & IT, supporting COP’s growth from a successful start-up to a significantly larger global company.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Booking of accounts payable/receivable for subsidiaries and branches.
- Invoicing and intercompany reconciliation.
- Preparing for period-end closing.
- Participating in continuous improvement projects within the team and department.
- Supporting other ad hoc Finance/Accounting projects and tasks.
This internship is a one-year contract, subject to extension by mutual agreement. The internship will terminate if the Intern ceases to be registered as a student at their university.
About you:
- We expect you to be self-driven, curious, and eager to learn, with a willingness to challenge yourself in a dynamic environment.
- Ideal qualifications: Current university student majoring in Accounting/Finance with a commitment of over one year.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Teamwork-oriented, energetic, and possessing a strong work ethic.
- Available to work 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
