The Program Quality, Impact and Innovation (PQII) team at SCD is looking for an intern for the Autumn 2025 semester. The PQII team works with providing technical support in the thematic areas of climate change, local leadership, gender equality, and monitoring and evaluation.
The focus of this exciting position is on climate mainstreaming, ESG and measuring SCD’s organizational footprint and sustainability. Climate mainstreaming has been a priority at SCD for several years, however, the aim of this role would be to take this work and develop it further.
The key tasks include close cross-department collaboration with the operations teams in the national department and working on our yearly climate mainstreaming report; an evaluation reporting on our efforts to mainstream and continually improve our environmental commitments and footprint. It also includes data and internal portfolio analysis on our Awards Management System. Other tasks may include event management, research, or other ad hoc and administrative tasks.
Internship period
:
- Starting from 15th September for: 22 weeks,and unpaid
, with a total of 825 hours – equivalent to 30 ECTS points - In person position based in Copenhagen Denmark

The ideal candidate’s profile:
- Experience within the areas of ESG, climate mainstreaming, CSR and sustainable business/ organisational processes and management
- Experience with ESG measurement tools and policy analysis
- Experience within research, data collection, and report writing (particularly in relation to ESG and climate mainstreaming)
- Event management and coordination
- Clear communication skills and attention to detail when undertaking administrative and ad hoc tasks
