Join us at Copenhagen Atomics as we finish developing a functioning thorium molten salt reactor that burns nuclear waste and drives real change.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Developing cutting edge simulation tools for fission and fusion reactors.
  • Developing methods for particle tracking and physics in a wide range of geometries.
  • Expanding the dynamic capabilities of simulation software into the realm of fluid fuel reactors.
  • Speeding up simulation software enabling engineers worldwide to explore novel reactor concepts.
  • Validating simulations against real world experiments and tests.

This position involves a variety of responsibilities and may not be limited to the above.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • To know/learn how to parallelize computer programs.
  • To analyse multidimensional data-sets.
  • To be adventurous and inquisitive.
  • To deep-dive into a large and diverse simulation code-base.
  • To independently ask questions and come with ideas.

As part of Copenhagen Atomics´ aspirations of continued growth, we have moved into new and larger facilities in Kastrup with 11.000 square meters of office and production space.
