Job description
We are looking for a part-time Accounting Intern (20 %). As an Accounting Intern at Verdane you will be a part of our finance department which currently has 13 members. The Department is organized in three segments: fund controlling, controlling, and accounting. The Accounting Intern will first and foremost be working closely with the accounting-team but should expect to be involved with other segments as well.
You will be involved in day-to-day accounting within an international growth equity investment firm. You will be working closely with experienced colleagues which will be contributing with academic development relevant for your studies.
Your responsibilities
- Assist with general cost accounting
- Examining expenses submitted by employees
- Other accounting related duties in the finance & accounting department
- Expect to be involved in the quarterly and yearly financial closing process for our Norwegian companies.
Your profile
- Currently pursuing a degree in the fields of auditing or accounting, preferably on your 2nd or 3rd year in your degree.
- Experience with Excel
- You are comfortable with written and spoken English and Norwegian.
