Internship in Technical Product Management

Become a part of Technical Product Management in the Water division
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company founded in 1946 with employees in more than 20 countries and headquarters in Stilling south of Aarhus. Our smart metering solutions empower utilities and societies to reduce water loss and increase energy efficiency by providing them with the insight to act and the data to target their efforts.

As an intern, you will either become a part of our Product Management team in our Heat/Cooling or Water division. The teams consist of dedicated colleagues who aim to generate customer value by interpreting customer needs and linking them to the best products and solutions. We closely collaborate with Commercial Product Managers, Software Developers, and colleagues from Sales and Solution & Service Delivery to meet our objectives.

An internship with focus on product development and optimization
As an intern in Product Management, you will contribute to product development and optimization. You will have a broad contact base throughout the organization, where you get to work with colleagues from all organizational levels, stakeholders, and customers. During your internship, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our products, you will gain a broad understanding of Kamstrup’s technical solutions and an understanding of how we secure customer value.

Depending on the team, your tasks will be:

• Providing technical support to customers, internal and external stakeholders
• Contributing with input for documentation and sales material
• Radiocommunication technology (Cellular, LoRaWAN, Sigfox etc.)
• Building up a strong application understanding to specify communication requirements
• Participating in Product Lifecycle Management in cooperation with Product Managers
• Creating and maintaining the technical documentation package in cooperation with Technical Assistants

The specific contents of your tasks and projects will be planned according to the department you will become part of based on your interest
and your competencies.

Personality matters
We are looking for an enthusiastic student who is ready to contribute to the further development of Kamstrup solutions. You are currently studying a relevant engineering degree, for example, Marine Engineer, Global Business Engineer, or similar where you have gained fresh insights and theoretical knowledge. However, the most important thing is your interest in development and optimization.

As a person, you are curious and enjoy proactively seeking new challenges where you can gain knowledge and new perspectives. You have a structured approach to your work and can therefore handle various tasks while you deliver quality results and ensure that deadlines are met. Finally, you get energy from collaboration where you can use your communication skills to efficiently interact and build relations within and outside of Kamstrup.

The job requires fluency in written and spoken English. Danish is an advantage.

Any details regarding the internship will be individually agreed upon. However, the internship is expected to run from August until December 2024, depending on your academic schedule.
