Intern Drug Substance Manufacturing

FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies is undergoing rapid development, our company is expanding at high speed, and this is just the beginning. It is therefore important that we continuously optimize our processes and quality, to ensure that we can keep up with this development. We are looking for people who share our passion, drive, and energy to be part of our Continuous Improvement team in Drug Substance Manufacturing.

As part of the Continuous Improvement team, you will deal with exactly this. Your main objective will be to help drive a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture in all areas of DSM. We work with LEAN as an integral part of our everyday life and continuously strive to optimize our processes, by increasing simplicity, reducing non-value-creating activities, and encouraging innovative thinking. Digitalization and use of data are increasing significantly, and you will therefore work a lot with this as well.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities could include:

• Optimize Support- and data processes
• Plan and facilitate workshops
• Building data sources in Alteryx
• Creating dashboard and apps within Tableau and Power Apps
• Executing improvement projects
• Supporting with problem solving and kaizen
• Develop KPIs
• Boosting the CI culture across the entire site
• Participating in development and follow-up of strategy
• Facilitate board meetings
• Learning to use and anchor lean tools such as 5S, 3C, PDCA etc.,

Through the above tasks, you will contribute to the continued implementation of LEAN, Human Performance and Shingo in Drug Substance Manufacturing. You also get to do it as part of a great and ambitious team.

Expectations:
It is expected that you are currently attending a relevant education and have achieved good results. In addition, you must be able to analyze various types of data and draw concrete and relevant conclusions from them. In addition, we emphasize that you show commitment, drive, and have good communication skills. We are an international company, and it is therefore an expectation that you have good written skills in English.

It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of business intelligence (BI), e.g., Tableau and Alteryx or are eager to learn how to work with data.

As a person, you are committed and thrive in a busy work environment, you are responsible, organized, and able to work independently. We do not expect you to know everything in advance, but we do expect you to be ready to learn and to contribute with the knowledge you bring.
