Student Assistant, Innovation - Aarhus

Location: Aarhus N, DK

We are looking for a new Student Assistant to support several teams within Innovation. At Arla Innovation Centre, we develop dairy and plant-based products for Denmark and the different global markets. Our innovations range from fresh fermented products, milk-based beverages, cheese, butter, spreads, and more.

How will you make an impact?
As our new Student Assistant, you will join a small team of Student Assistants who supports all product categories within Innovation. You will take on a broad role and your tasks will vary from practical tasks to more administrative tasks.

In particular, you will:

• Prepare samples for consumer studies, tastings and sensory assessment
• Assist with packing and shipping of samples
• Assist teams in application testing of products, and documenting the results
• Assist product developers with data handling of recipes
• Desk research and data analysis on competitors and ingredients
• Take part in weekly clean-up of the application rooms
• Helping with internal events by ordering samples and coordinating with stakeholders
• Digitalizing documents and transcribing handwritten notes from workshops
• Assist with other ad-hoc tasks

To succeed, you do not hold back when it comes to reaching out to colleagues for assistance - if that is what it takes to solve a challenge. Further, we assume that you are/have:

• A relevant education within the area of Food Science and will be studying for at least 2 more years – please indicate on your CV when you expect to graduate
• Strong communication skills, and are fluent in English (verbally and written)
• Proficient skills in MS Office apps
• Able to work approximately 10-15 hours per week, with due consideration to your studies
• Able to attend physically to the Arla Innovation Center, as most of the tasks are hands-on and cannot be done remotely
