As a Student Worker at Terma, you will be part of a company with a lot of engaged, knowledgeable and international employees, where Continuous Improvement and Performance Management is a driving factor for the culture in the department and the daily work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain simple automation scripts in Python and Bash to support daily operations.
• Assist in the management and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Assist in planning the deployment strategy, ensuring a smooth transition from development to production environments.
• Support the setup and maintenance of basic network configurations and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the IT and development teams to understand and participate in the deployment and operation of our internal and customer-facing services.
• Integrating, administering, deploying, and customizing specific IAM software platforms, focusing on secure and scalable access control.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and tools relevant to DevOps practices.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Python and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and basic system administration tasks.
• Understanding of fundamental networking concepts and protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Interest in cybersecurity and understanding of basic security best practices.
