We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant to join our growing team. As a Student Assistant in Global Commercial you will work with several areas of the commercial functions and be connected to P&L owners, functional leaders and management, and be involved in a variety of different tasks spanning the commercial spectrum. You will have a centralized role and you will build up expertise fast.
We will provide the needed training and mentoring to get you started and continuously add more to your skills. You will become part of an international team with a large network, and it will be a great opportunity for you to grow professionally and get your foot in the door to a great biotech company.
You will be joining the Global Commercial team, and report directly to Maria Ejskjær, Executive Assistant, or Sarah Dengsøe, Global Commercial Operations and Strategic Projects, who are both based in Hellerup, Denmark. You will be based in Hellerup.
Your support tasks will be:
- Maintain and manage Document Management in Veeva and Teams
- Help with creating and managing purchase orders, work orders and contracts for both projects and maintenance
- In our Learning Management System:
- Plan and schedule learning courses in collaboration with Learning Admin
- Assign learning courses to new and existing employees
- Support with internal communication
- Participate in improving existing workflows and processes
- Take part in projects helping stakeholders with documentation, administration, planning etc.
- In general: Support and assist Global Commercial Leadership Team with ad hoc tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
You study for a relevant academic degree – preferably you are in your third semester of your Bachelor studies in the fields of Business Administration, Communication or something similar.
Furthermore, you have:
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong PowerPoint skills.
- Flair for IT and administration.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- The ability to keep an overview of many tasks at once.
- Structured and detail orientated.
Key competencies:
You are a team player, service-minded, and have a can-do attitude.
We expect you to be curious, eager to learn and love to help others.
You can work independently with a task with little supervision, but at the same time have a well-developed intuition for when to ask for help. You have a doer mentality and are not afraid to learn from your mistakes.
You are conscientious about your tasks and can meet deadlines.
Work hours: 15 hours a week is expected, in peak times up to 20 hours a week. Flexibility around your exams can be arranged with your manager.
Office: Ascendis Pharma resides in a wonderful office facility in Tuborg Havn in Hellerup with a view of the harbor, the canals, and the sea.
