Formalize is on a scaling journey with significant traction across Europe. We are looking for a Finance Student Assistant to join our Finance and Operations team and help us take our financial operations to the next level. This role is perfect for a motivated and detail-oriented student who is looking for an opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage our billing platform and own our invoicing process
  • Be the trusted point of contact for our customers for all billing-related inquiries
  • Drive our collections processes and follow up with customers
  • Assist in month-end and closing processes, including financial reporting
  • Support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc analysis and reporting
  • Participate in other finance & operations related matters as needed

Qualifications and expectations towards you:

  • Studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, International Business, Analytics or a related field
  • Fast learner and open-minded
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical and know your way around Google Sheets / Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional fluency in English (Danish is not required)
  • Able to work 15-20 hours per week from our office in Copenhagen at H. C. Andersens Boulevard (preferred two full days, but will be flexible to studies)

  • Case (Approximately 2 hours)
  • In-person interview incl. case presentation with our Head of Finance and FP&A Manager (45-minutes)
