Student Analyst, Strategy and Business Development

We are looking for ambitious student analysts to join the Strategy team at our headquarters in Frederiksberg, replacing our current graduating students.

STARK Group is a top 20 company in Denmark with a strong growth track record, growing sales by 4x the last five years, driven by both M&A and organic growth while managing global crises and their impact in our local markets. We are present across Northern Europe, DACH and the UK with 1,150 branches and distribution centres, employing 20,000 people and generating DKK ~60 billion (pro forma) in annual net sales.

The position includes

• Cross-Europe working experience in a team of senior ex-consultants and corporate strategy professionals
• Conducting analyses for the top management, directly impacting the strategic decisions of the Group (e.g., strategy performance and execution, market, competition & customer analyses, M&A screening, commercial due diligence, post-merger integration, etc.)
• Research and communication of industry and macroeconomic trends
• Participation in the strategy update process, formulating corporate and business unit strategies, leading select strategy workstreams
• Daily sparring with your team preparing you for a fast-track career (previous students have pursued careers in management consulting, investment banking and corporate strategy teams)

You should apply if you are

• A second- or third-year BSc or first-year master's student at CBS, KU or DTU (or another relevant degree)
• Driven, motivated and open-minded team player who enjoys working in teams
• Organised, confident with numbers, and eager to learn
• In the top 10% of your class/study program
