The role
As a payroll specialist, you have an important position with varied tasks and are responsible for ensuring the ongoing salary payment of primarily salaried employees. You review and ensure that the right salary is paid on time, and you can also become involved in other exciting projects within the organization that concerns the area, as well as have external contacts and reporting to e.g authorities. The payroll team at Viaplay is passionate about development and improvement.

All Swedish companies are handled in-house, but for our expansion markets we cooperate with external suppliers. You will be an important part of setting and developing clear, efficient, and safe processes.

What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:

• Bachelor's degree or other post-secondary education in payroll
• Professional experience managing the entire payroll process
• Proficient communication skills in both Swedish and English
• Thrives in a dynamic work environment
• Proactive, with the ability to work independently and take responsibility with commitment and drive.
• A can-do attitude, sense of humor and the ability to work humbly with others

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Experience user in Hogia Lön Plus
• Experience from working in the time reporting system Quinyx
• Outsourcing of salaries to our other region such as Spain, Finland, Netherlands
