About the role

We are seeking an intern to join our Portfolio & Project Management department in the autumn of 2024 or 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills within the pharmaceutical industry.

You will join a dynamic team, collaborating closely with project managers to support and drive the success of various cross-functional projects. As an intern, you will help ensure the alignment of project activities with both company and project objectives, learning from highly skilled colleagues while contributing to impactful work.

How you might spend your days
As an intern, you’ll be:

  • Assisting a project manager on one of our major projects, gaining hands-on experience in project execution.
  • Supporting project activities by handling both recurring and ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth progress and successful outcomes.
  • Collaborating with the department's management team to identify best practices and capture key lessons learned from ongoing projects.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

  • You are in the later phases of a relevant engineering degree, such as chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical production, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • You are proficient in desktop software, including Word and Excel.
