ABOUT THE TEAM

The position as HR Legal Specialist is based in Employee Legal, part of People Excellence in People & Culture.

In the Employee Legal team you will be working closely with colleagues as HR supporters, Legal Counsels, a Health & Safety specialist, and a student assistant. Our workdays are characterised by both high pace and spirits and great team collaboration.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an HR Legal Specialist, you will assist the People & Culture Partners and the business in HR legal matters and act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for the business.

In order to succeed in this role you will provide first class legal advice and support to the KMD group managers, including the managers in KMD’s subsidiaries; Edlund, Charlie Tango, UV data, and Banqsoft.

Your primary responsibilities and tasks will consist of:

  • Support KMD Group managers and HR Business Partners regarding matters related to employment and labour law
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to KMD’s Danish subsidiaries in relation to employee legal matters
  • Prepare, maintain, and update various legal templates, e.g., employment contracts, addenda, HR policies and employee handbooks
  • Support colleagues and processes with HR GDPR Compliance
  • Participate in HR implementation projects, e.g., new legislation, changes in collective agreements in KMD, and other compliance related assignments
  • Participate in M&A related in- and outsourcing projects ensuring the practical steps of the sourcing processes related to employees
  • Take part in coordination with trade union representatives regarding pending assignments and projects.

This position is based at KMD’s headquarters in Ballerup and you will be reporting to the manager of Employee Legal.

ABOUT YOU

For this role it is required that you have a relevant law degree with 3+ years of experience working experience as HR legal specialist/HR lawyer.

In addition, it is an advantage if you have hands-on experience with HR related aspects of labour relations from a similar position, but it is not a condition.

  • With the ability to balance the need for sound business advice with the need for maintaining a high standard of legal advice.
  • A colleague with good mood, enthusiasm, unwavering drive and dedication
  • Good IT skills and system understanding
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility to deliver the best service to the business
  • Ability to prioritize the tasks at hand and meet deadlines
  • Since you will be working in an international environment, it is required that you are proficient in both spoken and written English and Danish.
